Adventurous Training

Wideopen Squadron is very active when it comes to Adventure Training, regularly participating in challenging walks and climbs in the UKs countryside.  These activities all help cadets to qualify for their Duke of Edinburgh Awards and are great for developing technical skills and teamworking.

Again, whenever the cadets are out on the hills they are accompanied by competent, qualified and experienced staff, holding BELAs (Basic Expedition Leader Awards) and WGLAs (Walking Group Leader Awards).
